2009 Blue Rose
Our first Rose is made from a 50:50 blend of Cabernet Franc and Malbec. We named it Blue Rose for the intense purple/blue colour of the fruit when it was crushed. The finished wine still has a tinge of blue to its edge. The bouquet begins with rose petals and has hints of musk. The palate of red berries, cherries and chocolate is supported by firm tannin structure and crisp persistent finish. This is a great wine to enjoy with crisp summer salads and the company of good friends
