2006 Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot is a minor but pivotal component of the very best Bordeaux blends, now having a renaissance in Australia. Notoriously hard to ripen, it is not commonly grown here in cooler areas and we are the only vineyard with this variety in the Canberra district. Complex and well balanced, the bouquet is intense with black cherry and mocha while the palate is fruit filled, balanced by dark chocolate and vanillin oak.
