Chiaro di Luna– Italian for moonlight – a nod to the elements that created this wine. A sweet and spicy rich red to enjoy with strong cheeses, warming puddings and at this time of the year- Christmas pudding! If pud is not your thing, think chocolate- dark with rum and raisin!! Also lovely in summer over ice!

In part 2 of our collaboration we have fortified estate grown Sangiovese with Moonshine from Gillies Bros Distillery to create this sweet, rich and spicy fortified wine.
Displays lifted aromas of cloves, dried herbs and orange peel. The palate is full, spicy and fruity: allspice, orange pomander, fruitcake, prunes, and sweet and warm on the finish.
Enjoy with strong cheeses ( good aged cheddar on black pepper watercrackers),fruitcake or Christmas pudding, sticky date or sticky toffee pudding, Rum and raisin dark chocolate, over ice in summer or around the campfire or firepit on a cool evening , preferably by the light of the silvery moon!!
